I have been a practicing physical therapist since 1978, when I received my degree in Physical Therapy from the Boston-Bouve' College of Northeastern University (Boston, MA). I completed my clinical internships at Boston City Hospital (Boston, MA), United States Public Health Service (New York, NY), and Sinai Hospital (Baltimore, MD). After graduation, I worked in a variety of settings including Hackensack Medical Center (Hackensack, NJ), Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore, MD), and as a consultant for home care agencies, nursing homes and senior centers. I have attended numerous continuing education courses to keep up to date on advancements in physical therapy evaluation and treatment.

In 1985 I went into private practice with two other partners, who have since retired.  Currently, I am a sole practitioner.  I provide one-on-one care. Only one patient is scheduled per hour and each patient receives a customized treatment program based on an individualized comprehensive evaluation. My special areas of interest include:
arthritis / musculoskeletal (including neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee) pain
        fracture and joint replacement rehabilitation
balance, gait correction and fall prevention programs
Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis and Post-Polio rehabilitation.

I have been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since 1976, and its Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy, and active in the Arthritis Foundation - Maryland Chapter since 1981, including past chairman of its Health Promotions Committee (2006 - 2009). I am also a member of the Maryland Society of Rheumatic Diseases,Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and American Diabetes Association. I have developed an aquatic program and have lectured for the Arthritis Foundation.
